Infinite Roadmap

Projects in the context of organisations are funny things.
Projects seek to create value but are mostly defined by a beginning date, an end date and a budget. Projects are designed to have continuity, but often have a transient team that disbands when the money runs out. Projects have every intention of delivering value by the given date, but often fall short in realising promised value.
If you come from the project school of thought you might consider something that never ends to be a bug and not a feature.
But the reality is that change never ends. Your customers needs are constantly in flux. People change roles and move on to other teams or organisations. Budgets also wax and wane based on reasons that aren’t always logical or driven by objective data.
All of these things drive constant change. Hence, the Infinite Roadmap.
